Must Have: Color and Prints

Bright cOloR and prints (animal, pattern, or multi cOloR) have always been a part of my wardrobe and if I can have it my way, it would be a part of everyone's closet! My love for cOloR and prints stems not only from my West Indian culture, but I truly believe it's complimentary to ALL skin tones and lets face it, it is an attention grabber ;-) My gals Rihanna, Kelis, Solange and Gwen Stefani are unapologetic when it comes to smearing  away the lines of black and white.

I realize that some of us may not be as daring to walk out in an ensemble of all prints and/or color (no worries!), so my suggestion to those of you is to pick one piece whether it may be a top or bottom, and compliment the "louder" piece with something more subtle such as a pair of black, white or demin bottom/top and/or  pair it with a solid color shoe and purse. Gold, white, and other prints are my personal preference.  Moral of the story is don't confine yourself to only a world of solids, life is so much more fun with cOloR!
